FREE as in FREE games in this list is rather debatable. World of Tanks, Warships and Warplanes is only free up to a point. When you reach that point there will be no fun at all anymore unless you spend real money to get at least the premium or VIP status. Only then you will earn still enough credits to grind your way up!

Dauntless, Paladins, Realm Royale, Fortnite, Apex Legends, etc. those are the games which you can play absolutely FREE! You don't have to spend money to grind faster or to get stronger. The only thing you can spend money on are cosmetic changes which will not make you stronger in battle. Think of skins, weapon skins, mounts, etc.

Therefore you have to take this list with a grain of salt. All games mentioned are FREE to START to play, but not all STAY FREE if you still want to have fun. And let us be honest: FUN is what we want in a game, no?

Exactly! Most of this list are free to play MMOs. I'd love to see similar list containing at least 2/3 single player titles.
