Rage 2 slated for May 14 release - What we know so far

Set in the same post-apocalyptic universe as the first Rage, you play as Walker, the wasteland's last remaining ranger.

The original release date was 4 May which has now be delayed to a firm May 14.  The game is already available for digital pre-order but similar to Fallouy 76, it appears unlikely to be available on Steam at launch.

The latest gameplay trailer here, details the bleak and desolate landscape of the game and gives an insight into the assortment of enemies you will encounter in the game.

A video released earlier this week gave a glimpse of different weapons and abilities here.  Familiar to seasoned Rage fans, the Homing Wingstick will return along with the really fun barrier and vortex abilities that can send NPCs flying all over.

If you're looking for some really in-depth action, this 11 minute trailer pretty much sums up all the action. It has some vehicular combat, boss fights plus the very familiar BFG-9000 from Doom. 

If all that whets your appetite, the Collector's edition for hardcore fans come with a special poster, a Ruckus talking head, the Doom BFG and a host if other collectible pixels in game.
