Super Mario Maker 2 Online With Random Players Only

Nintendo has recently announced that in Super Mario Maker 2, you won't be able to play with your friends online. No matter if you're playing co-op or versus, if you choose to play online, you'll be paired with random players. Nintendo has stated this is due to the way leaderboards and the rating system was set up.
