Everything that’s been revealed about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order so Far
Respawn debuted 15 minutes of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order footage during the EA Play event. The release date has been set for November 15 2019.
According to the panel, SWJFO’s gameplay and exploration are inspired by the Dark Souls and Metroid series. Outside of combat, SWJFO has been inspired by Metroidvanias and the developers looked very closely at the structure of Metroid Prime.

- There will be no choosing between Light and Dark sides of the Force since Cal is an authentic Jedi during the purge.
- There will be a focus on timing and dodge rolls during combat.
- Protagonist Cal Kestis will also not be able to heal over time during combat. Instead, there will be health canisters summoned from BD-1, his droid companion.
- A lot of Force abilities are involved in gameplay and the demo shows Stormtroopers being pulled into their own blaster fire.

- Cal’s ship is called the Stinger Mantis, a new canon ship class designed for the game.
- The ship is customizable on both exterior and interior, with living quarters, a lounge and a map of the galaxy.
- There will be several planets that you can visit in SWJFO, and flights are handled in real-time so you can do different activities while flying.
- You will be able to fly to any planet and each world will have a hub to rest, spend skill points and talk to NPCs. The ship will also have other activities not yet revealed.
- Lightsabers can be customized. You will be able to find and collect different color lightsabers with different hilts and components.

- You will be able to pilot other vehicles like an AT-AT.
- Cal fought his way into an AT-AT in the demo and after killing all the trooper took control of the AT-AT and took it into battle.
