New Cyberpunk 2077 Details: Gameplay/Story, Game world, Endings, Multiplayer.
Gameplay / Story
The developers note that in Cyberpunk 2077 the whole gameplay is built around the plot, and not vice versa, as in some games, when there is a certain kind of gameplay to which the plot is “screwed” to create the integrity of the image.
In the creation of CD Projekt RED, history comes first. It is based on the scenario around the story that the gameplay is increasing, be it a shootout, a fight or a chase. Because of this approach, a new role even appeared in the studio - designers of bouts and battles.
"At the moment we have a separate team, a small one, with which we work together, and they just add ideas, implement some things, try, consider options, just to make sure that the fight is pleasant and everything that happens has the right pace and so on, because, to be honest, it's very easy to screw it up. "
At the same time, different teams in the studio try to work simultaneously and together, so that the final result looks and feels natural / right. Also focuses on the feelings of the players.
As Pavel Sasko stated, the developers want to make users cry, get angry and laugh, so they try to create stories in which we will empathize with the characters. As an example, the plot of the Blood Baron from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is indicated.
Game world
Apparently, the main character will have the opportunity to buy / move into various apartments, which will also have garages. In them, he / she will be able to organize his collection of vehicles by selecting the main car and the main motorcycle.
If V wants to leave the boundaries of Night City, he will end up in Badlands. These areas are a relic of the past, buildings buried in dried mud. They can also be explored, and the movement of transport will be similar to off-road driving.
The developers promise that the Badlands neighborhoods surrounding Night City will not be a simple decoration, but an open location where players can find a lot of interesting things, including quests and nomads (stray gangs in the Mad Max style).
The world itself is not limited to "real locations". Periodically, the player will need to dive into cyberspace and explore it.
Endings
The game will have several endings. Based on various developer comments, journalists assume that the outcome of the Cyberpunk 2077 story will depend on both the decisions made by the player and the style of the passing game.
Multiplayer
Despite the fact that the release of the game will not be multiplayer, the developers said they did not say no to the regime. It’s just that they haven’t done it yet and it’s quite possible that after release it may appear as part of one of the additions.
The project is due on April 16, 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
