Star Citizen is selling a ship for mine sweeping even though there are no mines in game
Star Citizen is a money factory with its famous space ships. and the last one in the offer, called Aegis Nautilus Solstice, is being sold for 675 American Dollars. More precisely, for this price can be bought by the Chairman's Club members, or those that have invested more than 1000 American Dollars in the game. Simple mortals can get this little ship for 810 American Dollars so even though you are not a member of Chairman's Club, no worry, price is a real bargain. Regarding ships technical specifications, it is about a large ship that can fit 4-8 players, while its tactical advantage in fact is that this beast plants, destroys and sweeps mines.
This is great news for those who preferred this kind of gameplay, but fun spoils a small fact, a fact that mines are not in the game, while announcement with latest implementation of this mechanic do not exist also like that Nautilus will not appear in the game until the moment mines are in the game. However, a fact that the game that is not close to being complete is selling a ship which primary function will be usable only sometime in the future has not stop the loyal fans and in almost three days Star Citizen has earned more than 700 thousand American Dollars just from the aforementioned ship.
According to several sources, Star Citizen has since 2012 collected more than 233 million American Dollars, while in 2019 is especially successful and records significant rise of earnings compared to the recent years. Even though amounts that are needed to be set aside for ships that are not in the game, if ever they'll be, sound crazy, Star Citizen is still making earnings. We should ask ourselves we'll we ever see the official, full-fledge and stable version of the game that will have all those promises that Chris Roberts has made.
