Demo 12 upcoming games on Steam, during The Game Awards

TGA host Geoff Keighley has recently announced a new event tied to the awards, called The Game Festival, which will give people the possibility to play 12 demos for upcoming games, on Steam. 

Today I'm introducing a brand new aspect of #TheGameAwards It's called #TheGameFestival, and tomorrow for 48 hours, you'll get to play 12 new game demos for the first time on @Steam.

As our show continues to grow, I want to move beyond just showing trailers -- and give you access to gameplay through a digital consumer event. This is a pilot program for 2019. We'll take your feedback and expand in a big way in 2020 across all platforms and regions.

Gaming is global. My goal is to continue building #TheGameAwards in a way that everyone around the world can see, celebrate and play games together.  Excited to have everyone play these games for a limited 48 hour period before they disappear!

The Game Awards Streams Live on Thursday at 8:30PM ET / 5:30PM PT

The Game Festival Runs on Steam from Thursday at 10:00AM PT

Until Saturday at 10:00AM PT
