The solo-creator of Stardew Valley known as ConcernedApe (or by his given name, Eric Barone) is creating a new game after over a decade of work on Stardew Valley. (And if you haven't played Stardew Valley before, what rock are you sleeping under?)
There's not much we know about the title yet, but from what is available on it this will be the next big grind game for many indie and cozy game fans. In this game, you will play as a chocolatier living in a haunted castle.
Stardew Valley and Haunted Chocolatier are similar in their respects to town building and neighbor NPCs. Players are going to meet and know their neighbors while changing the town through the power of friendship and... *checks notes* making delicious chocolates. Instead of farming, you'll have to gather rare ingredients, make delicious chocolates, and sell them!
Not a bad deal, huh?

We have yet to see how spooky it is, although Eric Barone has promised that Chocolatier is going to be more of an action-RPG than Stardew was. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that the game is similar to Luigi's Mansion in vibes, but with all the lovely warmness that made Stardew such an iconic title.
You can read more about the game from the creator himself.
What are your thoughts? Are you excited to see something new from the Stardew Creator? What are you hoping for that you might have missed out on in the Stardew Valley gameplay experience?
