Hogwarts Legacy - Live the Unwritten
Hogwarts Legacy is an open world action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros, based on the Harry Potter novels.
The players will be able to live through the unwritten as the events in the game take place in the late XIXth century — a century before the events in the Harry Potter books — and start their own journey as a fifth-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The game will provide an open world experience — the players will be sorted into their own Houses, attend classes and explore the Wizarding World of the 1890s.
They will grow their character’s abilities by mastering powerful spells, brewing potions, and harvesting magical plants as they face off against deadly enemies. Players will also encounter quests and scenarios that will pose difficult choices and determine what they stand for.

Rowling is not involved in the creation of the game, but as creator of the wizarding world and one of the world’s greatest storytellers, her extraordinary body of writing is the foundation of all projects in the Wizarding World. This is not a new story from J.K. Rowling, however we have collaborated closely with her team on all aspects of the game to ensure it remains in line with the magical experiences fans expect.

The much-awaited game was initially planned to launch on all major platforms in 2021, but in January 2021 Warner Bros announced that the game would be delayed. After two delays, the game is now scheduled to be released worldwide for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on February 10, 2023. PlayStation®4 and Xbox One will launch together on April 4, 2023 and Nintendo Switch on July 25, 2023.
There are three different editions available for pre-order. The Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC includes 72 hours of Early Access to the game, beginning on February 7, 2023. The Standard and Deluxe Editions for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One will launch on April 4, 2023 without Early Access. You can learn all about pre-ordering the game here.
