Pokémon GO - Daily Bonuses Coming Soon™

After the end of the Halloween event, players were worried what was Niantic's next move. The Halloween event was successful and enjoyed by many players. It was sad to see it gone. I quite enjoyed the easy candies and catching all those ghost and psychic Pokémon. The update was less grindy but now it is gone, we are back to the same old game... until the next update! The upcoming update brings in daily quests.

More bonuses, more fun! Daily bonuses are coming...

Trainers,

We want to provide you a detailed look at a new feature coming soon to Pokémon GO - Daily bonuses! Trainers will soon be able to receive a bonus for certain daily activities, including catching a Pokémon or visiting a PokéStop once a day. You’ll earn a larger bonus if you do this seven days in a row!

Catching a Pokémon every day will earn the following bonus:

500 XP

600 Stardust

Catching a Pokémon every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:

2,000 XP

2,400 Stardust

Visiting a PokéStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earn the following bonus:

500 XP

A number of additional items

Visiting a PokéStop every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:

2,000 XP

A greater number of additional items

If you catch a Pokémon at any time on Tuesday local time, you’ll be eligible for the next daily bonus on Wednesday at 12 AM local time.

It's not bad. So if you do all daily quests, you should get 10,000 XP, 6,000 Stardust, and a lot of items. Better not be potions though. Ain't nobody want potions. I'm hoping it can also give some of those paid items like incense, lure modules, and egg incubators. Even if it's a small percentage, it will still motivate people to play daily. Overall, I think this is going to be a nice update and hopefully keep some people playing. I'm hoping these good updates keep coming.

What do you guys think? Good upcoming update or the game is dead no matter what?

It'll benefit the people still playing it, majority of players have got bored, moved on and won't even be aware of this update.

I personally stopped playing as soon as they tried to prevent rooted devices from using the app, anyone actually abusing the system just bypassed the check, legit users which happen to have pre-rooted devices got screwed.

Yeah many of my friends don't play it anymore because of the anti-root. The game caters to casual players and many casual players don't even root let alone know what root does. The game still has many hurdles to overcome. I think one day they may let rooted players back in after they deal with the "cheaters".
