You click on Save? I think Titles may still require a staff review before you can see the change.

Same for me. I've tried changing the title multiple times, but it won't save. I'm stuck with a morse code that says 'AWA' lol. The about me works fine though.

I remember someone saying there is a save under the avatar, and also a save under the about me. Try both at this point? And also a log out and in after.
