My brother's trying to convince me to get a gaming laptop that's really good but not Alienware but I'm loyal to Alienware because I've been using Alienware gaming laptops for 8 years now only problem is with the area 51 16 build your own it costs $10 859.99 for what I want to do and me and my family don't have close to that kind of money but I'm stubborn and will save up my own money and create a bank account for game hardware of buying with my own money if I have to in order to get it

Honestly, I get that. I had an Alienware 18 n that lasted me longer than 8 years. An R12 n PRO keyboard. But they are big corpo, your loyalty will always be unrewarded like if you ever have an issue you will see how problematic it can be.

The proprietary nature of Dell/Alienware has been definitely anti-consumer for a long time and anytime they actually do something good (Alienware 51 Desktop) they add an *. Like buying extra cables for the capability.Or not supplying parts

It's not the best time for computers with all the price hikes on storage, ram, and more. Might not be for a while, and if the ai bubble does pop... well that might be the next recession. Saving no matter what is good for emergencies though.
