Ubisoft responds to criticism about microtransactions in For Honor

You may remember that last weekend one For Honor fan calculated how much time or money will cost to get all of available supplements in the game and came up with a little bit shocking figures. It seems that the discussion that followed continued to smolder in the community, however, neither Ubisoft could not fail to notice it and reflect on the presented criticism.
On the official livestream of Ubisoft officer in charge of the community Emile Gauthier and Director For Honor Damien Kieken have talked among other things about the idea behind the system microtransactions and editing characters you'll find in the attached video at 23:30.
In short, Kieken explains that it is not intended that players unlock everything in the game, so they predicted that individual player will mostly play one to three characters and focus on them. For comparison, he offers an example that when you enter the store that you have come for something that you need or enjoy, you are not there to buy everything that is available.
Sounds like it might be something behind this explanation, but of course that any statement even more stirred the debate on the various networks. Some say that it is a bad design to expect the player to play only a few characters and make the game around this idea, others still are not satisfied with what is charged for microtransactions on top of full market prices, but still remains the problem that supplements are not only cosmetic but have an impact on gameplay.
