The creators of Star Citizen believe that this is the most ambitious game ever

Skeptics doubt that the project called Star Citizen ever become a reality as concrete, or better said finished game. However, its creator, Chris Robert, has a drawn plan which he will hold until further notice. If anything, at least we know that the plan is comprehensive, deliberate and transparent, and the details of the same can be found here.

As part of the plan is release of Alpha 3.0 version in June this year. This version would have to be the first true representation of what is conceived for Star Citizen. In the first place, it will be a demonstration of "Planetary Tech" mechanics, which is essentially what we have seen in No Man's Sky - whichever planet you see, you can land on it and explore it on foot or by vehicle. In the Alpha 3.0 version that will be demonstrated through the three planets.

Planetary Tech also is an indication of the specifics of the project, according to its creator. "No one before had tried to make an ambitious game like Star Citizen and I doubt that any publisher had the patience or understanding for something that breaks conventions like Star Citizen. Me and my team are forever grateful that we can immediately start making Star Citizen, that were able to take the time for long-term planning things in a way that our universe that will allow our universe to flourish for years to come. We`re making history. "- said Roberts.

Let's hope that game ambitions will be properly realized to fully playable state...

Interstellar
After waiting so long and so many promises from the developer I'm expecting something great. But there were too many No Man's Skies, lately...

Oh! You ARE sick!

I am skeptical with this game, it has achieved some great goals, but it is far from what it tries to achieve. I wish it all the best, as I would love if it comes somewhere near what it shall be one day, but at the moment, I wouldn't really recommend to buy the game.

Galactic

It's an endless kickstarter
This is a dead game unfortunately, it will not come out

Planetary

Gosh, as one of the early day backers it really would make me wonder if they ever get this thing finished. I wait like ages.. reminds me on the new 'Airport Berlin'

Neverending Story....

All your base are belong to us.

They are probably right. But after so many years and millions of $ invested they are still in alpha. Will this game ever be finished? Please don't end like "No Man's Sky".
