Call of Duty: WWII already accused of ripping Brothers in Arms

It was not even a full day since Activision and Sledgehammer Games announced the new Call of Duty called the WWII, and the game has already sparked ghosts. This time there were no war veterans or unsatisfied fans that came but the president Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford. The concerned at the cover page of the game immediately noticed similarities with the title of Gearbox's Brothers in Arms from 2008, the game that is also placed in the 2nd World War. Namely, both covers contain a large shot of soldier holding the same item (dog tags) in the same position.

Pitchford did not go further than an insinuation on a possible copying, nor did he directly call the team behind the new CoD out, most likely because the soldier picture was not confirmed as the cover of the game, although the stores had already used it as box-art for orders. After all, in case Gearbox threatens with a lawsuit because of its similarity in the cover, Activision can change it without big problems.

The reveal of this year's Call of Duty and its return to World War II we`re waiting until 26th of this month, that is until next Wednesday. However, several screenshots have already been drawn on the Internet, though with very low resolution, which are shared below the text.

Interstellar

Obviously they are based on the same type of picture, but a soldier, fists together, with his dog tags hanging off his hands seems like a fairly common picture.

Planetary

Quite similar, but they can change it until release, so it's too early for accusations.
