Far Cry 5 could offend members of Catholic religion
The image you see above is the official cover for Ubisoft's Far Cry 5 game. This material is also a confirmation of earlier information that this Far Cry sequel will be engraved with a religious, or rather, cultic theme. We see in the middle of the picture the main villain, and around him is a bunch of colorful assistants, typical for Ubisoft's games.
Even though the coverpage greatly resembles the style of the previous two games - three and four; The first association is probably different to you. The cover on the cover is designed to imitate Da Vinci's image of the last dinner of Jesus Christ in the company of his apostles.
For now it is difficult to say whether religious extremism in the game has anything to do with Christianity, but since there are indeed some variations of the cross in the picture, the question is how the Catholics will respond to this. However, the controversies are not strange to Ubisoft - some have seen the Far Cry 4 cover as a racist propaganda, and recently the Bolivian ministry was left stunned of its country image in the new Ghost Recon.
Those to whom the front page does not violate religious feelings will probably get a nice detail out of it - a confirmation that we can expect flying in the Far Cry 5. As we already know, game reveal is scheduled for this Friday, 26 May.
