Reddit ad leaks The Evil Within 2 Announcement

A Reddit advertisement has leaked the announcement of The Evil Within 2.

First reported by Reddit users, then on NeoGAF, the advertisement appeared as a promoted post in the r/PS4 subreddit.

 

We refreshed the page a few times and eventually got the advertisement ourselves. It read: “Bethesda returns you to the nightmare in The Evil Within 2. Now available for preorder. How will you survive?”

We refreshed it a few more times and got another advertisement, this time reading: “From survival horror mastermind Shinji Mikami comes The Evil Within 2. Now available for preorder. ‘The only way out is in.'”

Clicking the advertisement link leads to TheEvilWithin.com.

The Evil Within 2 will likely be announced at Bethesda Softworks’ E3 2017 press conference today at 9:00 p.m. PDT / midnight EDT.

That's both unfortunate and great! I hope the sequel will be even better than the first game.

Since Shinji Mikami is again behind this sequel, i can stay satisfied that the game will live up to its horror as well as action packed genre.
