Ubisoft's new IP is a multiplayer pirate brawl Skull and Bones
Ubisoft at this year's E3 conference surprised us with a completely new IP of the team that worked on Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. We emphasize their work so far as it is a multiplayer PvP game focused on massive pirate battles with numerous elements of navigation and naval combat, and developers from Ubisoft Singapore say they are not making Black Flag 2 rather a whole new experience.
The battles will be located in the beautiful Indian Ocean, and we will use various ships with clear advantages and gaps which should reflect the already familiar mechanics of multiplayer or even RPG games, say developers. Much attention is devoted to navigation and it seems that we will really have to understand the sea and wind that we will feel on everything from waves to sails, and according to it we will position, fight, defend and practically live in Skull and Bones.
The game will be released next fall, but you can now sign up for a beta testing on the official site. We also recommend watching official video about everything you need to know about the game.
