  • 21

Fallout 4 is getting a Game of the Year Edition nearly two years after its release on September 26 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Pricing for the Game of the Year Edition has yet to be revealed, but it's confirmed to come with all the latest updates to Fallout 4, such as mod support, Survival mode, and a few graphical enhancements.

It'll also include all six of the game's add-on content: Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop and Automatron.

Bethesda will also be releasing a limited amount of Fallout 4 G.O.T.Y. Pip-Boy collector editions exclusively in North America, which will run you $99.99. Along with including a copy of Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition, you'll be getting a Pip-Boy as well.

I am waiting for this day. And hoping B would remaster New Vegas please :D

Fallout series are one my favorite of all time. Love both the old 1&2 and the modern ones 3&NV equally, if not the modern ones more. But honestly Fallout 4's sales (which made tons more than witcher 3 and is Bethesda's most successful title) are nothing more than just hype sales.

Like i said in the past, Fallout 4 used to have Half Life's 3 level of hype after fallout 3 launched in 2008. Everyone including myself expect it to be one of the greatest games of all time. So of course everyone lost their shit when fallout 4 was finally announced. The E3 gameplay presentation was solid as hell.

It wasn't until the game's launch and when everyone already purchased it that turned out to be a disappointment. The game has its core mechanics downgraded and instead added niche and superficial additions that is not what made fallout great for me.

I still really like Fallout 4, but it did not deserve the amount of sales it got and most certainly did not deserve Game of the Year. Yes i know that GOTY editions are more or less titled like that when they add everything related to the game (dlc, expansions and such) into one package and it's not meant to be taken too literally, but still.... i am a huge fan of the Fallout series and i can definitely say that Fallout 4 is incredibly overrated.
