South Park: The Fractured But Whole has a unique system of difficulty selection

  • 401

Check this out - in South Park: The Fractured But Whole, you will be able to choose the skin color of your character. But, if you want to play the game at the highest difficulty setting you will have to play as a dark-colored character.

However, it is worth noting that the difficulty setting will not affect the severity of the fight, which is the backbone of the game. Instead, difficulty will manifest itself through different scenarios, or as it stands - it will affect every other aspect of your life. For example, the amount of money you get in the game will be smaller if you are darker skin, and also the characters will behave differently towards you.

We are sure that somebody also in this will scream for discrimination, but it is undeniable that the creators of South Park can agree to provocative social criticism and satire, even if they are in the game world.

LOL South Park at it again. It’s a clever way to put in some racial comedy

a village

Satire at it's finest, but it wouldn't surprise me if independent of the joke there's an actual setting deep in the menus to change difficulties regardless of which color you pick.
