Combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance may be brilliant and perhaps overcrowded

  • 22

Developing team Warhorse Studios has spent a lot of time and effort devoted to the first-person combat system in its first game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Their goal is to fight more than plain brawling what kind of we can see in Skyrim and similar titles, and this they plan to achieve with various types of hits, with a focus on the correct positioning of the swing and the realistic behavior of the weapon and the body under the force of impact. Of course, this first-look system is quite complex, and in the fight with more characters it may look also chaotic. But, we hope that realism will not cost the game its accessibility and that Kingdome Come really brings a good balance between the two.

The battle system is first person in the game makes any game appealing!A good step in the development of the project!

Totally agreed with your mind. Gonna check news about this project!

Doesn't look quite as slick as Mordhau, but still a thousand times better than most games.

That looks and sounds downright awesome.  It's refreshing to see such a realistic take on combat and all the training that would go into it to make yourself a skilled fighter - not just selecting a new talent and being suddenly proficient!

Number one game on my wishlist. While the realistic combat looks great, I'm even more interested in the realistic world-building and role-playing aspects, however.
