Fortnite new 50/50 mode

Fortnite developers Epic has announced a new mode for Fortnite which sees players face each other in massive 50v50 mode.

It'll be free-to-play alongside Battle Royale

Epic also announced cross-platform play is coming back at an undisclosed time in the future, too.

The video description reads:

"Grab your friends and jump into Fortnite Battle Royale's limited-time 50v50 mode. The mode is only around until Dec. 17, so take part in some epic battles while you can!"

Well of course. It's easy to do some netcode changes and make 50v50 matchmaking if you have 30 million players. It's all in the matchmaking sauce and how the use ELO rankings that's hidden behind the curtains.

I believe it's gonna be fun for those who survive at least the first half of the match , definitely more enjoyable with friends if you die early and just spectate.
