SEGA and Two Point Studios announce "Two Point Hospital"

Two Point Hospital

SEGA have announced a new project from Two Point Studios, a British video game developer founded by former members of Bullfrog Productions and Lionhead Studios. Speaking via their Twitter feed, SEGA have informed us that Two Point Hospital will be open for business later this year.

Details remain fairly thin on the ground but it's clear that Two Point Hospital will be a hospital management sim in a very similar vein to the classic Theme Hospital. Developer Two Point Studios are uniquely qualified to create an authentic Theme Hospital successor; the studio was founded by alumni of Bullfrog Productions, original creators of the iconic classic. The Two Point Hospital Twitter feed gives a basic run-down of the tasks you'll be expected to perform:

Build your hospital
Hire your staff
Try not to kill anyone

So it sounds like the inimitable Bullfrog humour is still alive and well and will be a major feature of the new game.

No release date has been specified for Two Point Hospital but the game's newly created Steam page indicates a release in Fall 2018. For further updates you can follow Two Point Studio's Twitter feed or visit the official website. You can also check out the game's announcement trailer below.

It sure looks promising, I hope that it turns out to be a worthy successor.

I also have very fond memories of Theme Hospital and I'm really hoping this turns out to be a worthy successor. But given the lineage of Two Point Studios I think it's safe to assume that the game is in good hands - I'm expecting great things from it!

Cheers!

Hope this hospital will not be manage like the NHS(national healthcare service in Great Britain). Because the NHS is really really bad.
