In Smalland, surviving is quite different with a shrunken protagonist

There is a new survival game coming out soon and it's called Smalland. Smalland is a survival game on a much larger scale. You've been mysteriously shrunk to the size of a pebble and thrust into the great wilderness. Before you begin your adventure, you willl need food, water, and shelter - surviving is a whole new game down there.

Smalland changes a lot in terms of survival and to be honest that sounds great!

  • the wind can blow your items, even your building if you didn't build it strong enough;

  • the rain can be pretty dangerous, it can cause puddles;

  • you're really small, and puddles are not just puddles anymore.

As a tiny person, there is a huge adventure that is waiting for you full of the lively ecosystem and great moments. You must be careful and craft creative items for staying alive in this crazy world. And if you want, your friends can join your adventure.

If simply experiencing the world from a new perspective is what you want, you can admire a breathtaking sunset or experience the beauty of nature from an all-new perspective in peaceful mode.

Being this small opens up brand new places you could never dream of going at your normal height. Furthermore devs give us a protip: "don't go into the sewer when it's raining".

Below are additional details regarding Smalland's key features.

By this point, I understand why Smalland will be unique, or at least will try:

  • downsizing;
  • ecosystem;
  • dynamic weather.

I look forward to seeing this game released, however hyped games like No Man's Sky taught us to be more patient (and not pre-order).

Still pretty human

Survival here , survival there .. I would prefer more RPG focused games without survival aspects

Well, I prefer something that has a story line. More and more often we see releases that don't have a story line, e.g. PUBG and that become a hit in the game industry. A story line is something extra that reveals the devs potential. We see mostly arena-like games, sometimes overpriced and sometimes overhyped. Don't get me wrong, I'm still playing those games, however would like to play something nice from time to time.
