Already is being made the Game of Thrones mod for Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Despite the tremendous popularity of the Game of Thrones series and its literary template, gamers have not yet received a quality video game with an epic adventure in the Westeros world. The situation is such that the best Game of Thrones contents in virtual form are found as user mods. One of these is the popular The Seven Kingdoms for Attila: Total War.

The creators of this mod were not really delighted with the support they received from the Creative Assembly and their creation of the GoT content for the Total War title was impractical and unnecessarily complicated. Not surprisingly, they decided to conclude this story and turn to the new project - the total conversion of the upcoming game Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Kingdom Come is based on CryEngine launcher, which will make Game of Thrones creators much easier to create content for total conversion. Furthermore, the open world of the game and its narrative structure will enable modders to finally create a story campaign from the perspective of a person. Ultimately, the development team Warhorse Studios is extremely open and interested for creating a modding community around their game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an ideal candidate also because of the medieval theme, similar to the Game of Thrones. But between these two names there is still a key difference. While Game of Thrones deals with fantasy elements - dragons, magic, zombies - Kingdom: Come is the opposite of this game that aims at historical precision and a completely grounded view of Europe in the 15th century.
