Ion Maiden shooter aims at nostalgia for the 90s

If this game intrigued you with its distinctive name, at least has made it in something. But will it succeed in the intent of combining modern FPS elements and the old-fashioned first person shooter, that remains to be seen.

It's actually a kind of sequel to the game Bombshell, which in 2016 did not really broke through. Its premise is not particularly wise, but the main selling motive can be broken to the modern spirit in the old-fashioned body. The game will like that run Duke Nukem 3D engine, but certain mechanics, such as autosave, will be an integral part of the experience. After all, we will use modern weaponry that has not existed during the 1990s, or in the Golden Age of first person shooters.

Ion Maiden is available for PC, and is in Steam Early Access since yesterday.

One step further....I read "Iron Maiden", read the whole article waiting for an explained connection for the game-name and the band...didn't get it and only after your comment saw it's called "Ion Maiden"... -_-

Thought the same.  But that would put the game in the 80's era, not 90's.

Very wonderful, I always look with interest new materials.

Meh. If you're too lazy to make high res textures, don't just call it "nostalgic".
