New destination of Assassin's Creed series may be ancient Greece
Claims about where the next Assassin's Creed game will be located is more interesting than the sport cricket. But I do not like gossip and rumors about the subject because Assassin's Creed has a bunch of locations and periods to choose, and it's quite logical that now or later they'll visit those which were in some way key to the development of mankind, since in global that also story is about human race. With that in mind, whatever guess you shoot out, it is true. Yes, we will see AC in feudal Japan, AC in the Wild West ... the only question is in which order, actually when.
According to fresh rumors and speculations in 2019, we are not going to Japan nor to the United States but to ancient Greece. For now, this is based on two rather loose "evidence". The first is that the visual director of AC series Raphael Lacoste stayed in Greece last year. Lacoste claims he was there on vacation, but fans are not convinced that he took vacation just before the release of AC Origins but they suspect that he was there for business and that he was exploring the country for the new AC title.
The second indication that Assassin's Creed could go to Greece is that one of the previous games shows the last letter of the Greek alphabet - Omega. Perhaps it would not be doubtful that Horus eye was not alongside it, one of the symbols of the Egyptian culture we explored in AC Origins.
So, nothing has yet been confirmed for sure, but these speculations ask the right question: Would Assassin's Creed in Greece be interesting to you?
