PUBG got a new, temporary mode with a new twist

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has received a new event today, a mode with a specific plot that will be available in the game for only three days - until April 1. It is called Flare Gun mode and is located on the map Miramar, and sends players in search for Flare Gun which appears in individual houses across the map.

Players who find Flare Gun must fire the flare into the sky, and after that they receive an airdrop within which are two weapons and Lv. 3 equipment with some other benefits. Of course, by firing flare gun you are putting a target on yourself.

Temporary modes in PUBG are response to the same event in the competitive Fortnite, which also regularly receives similar events. PUBG started with them somewhat later and is still trying to find the right formula while struggling with growing cheating in the game.
