NBA 2K series this year celebrates 20 years of its existence. Interestingly, the best basketball series its origin does not have on Playstation or Nintendo, but on the Sega Dreamcast console. So this exact console was honored in the first promotional spot for the NBA 2K19 that was announced today.

NBA 2K19 will release on September 11 in PC, PS4, XBOX and Switch versions. There will be two editions of the game: standard for 60 euros and 20th Anniversary Edition for 100 euros, which will be released sometime around - September 7th.

This year's cover star of the game will again be LeBron James, to whom this is the second appearance on 2K cover (formerly worn in NBA 2K14).

The question is, do they rectify the disastrous decisions they made around VC and player progression?  Because 2k18 is already dead.  Completely.  They completely destroyed the community around that game when they created a heavy pay-2-win model.  It's so bad, that you have to play over 800 games just to get an average player in regards to progression.  Or you can spend a couple hundred dollars.
