Metro Exodus in 4K resolution looks sharp, for fingers to cut
An post-apocalyptic shooter Metro Exodus at this week's E3 show was featured with a new trailer, but also with more than 15 minutes of sweet gameplay in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. You can watch the same above and get convinced of what you already know - game will look awesome.
One of the visual beauties that Metro Exodus will bring is a dynamic change of day and night and change of weather conditions. It will only take place on certain parts of the map, or areas that will function as slightly more open, but will not only be visual, it will also affect gameplay.
"In the day, the humans might be patrolling an area around their camp, which thins out the amount of guys that are in the core of it. So, it might be a little easier to get in if you do get in a firefight. Or, at night, they're clustered around their campfires and sleeping and all of them are in there, but you have the cover of darkness to sneak around," explains creative director John Bloch.
