This year's E3 is over and currently there is a discussions about who actually "won". Although everyone has their perception and their candidate, it is interesting to see what official statistics say, at least those from Twitch. Twitch alongside YouTube and Mixer was one of the main places where E3 conferences and various other programs could be followed.

According to Twitch, the "winner" of this year's E3 is Microsoft, or Xbox, whose conference was followed by highest number of viewers in Twitch's history, them 1.7 million. It's a big leap in views for Microsoft when compared to last year's results when the Xbox conference watched 600,000 less, or in 2016, when they had less than half of the viewers.

The second most watched conference was Ubisoft, with only a hundred thousand less viewers than Microsoft. In the millionaires club also managed to get in PlayStation with 1.5 million viewers, while the lowest watched were Electronic Arts and Nintendo.

  1. Xbox - 1.7 million viewers simultaneously
  2. Ubisoft - 1.6 million viewers
  3. PlayStation - 1.5 million viewers
  4. Bethesda - 964,000 viewers
  5. PC Gaming Show - 893,000 viewers
  6. Nintendo - 700,000 viewers
  7. Electronic Arts - 500,000 viewers

Microsoft has set a new record for Twitch, but this is not the only record that was set this week. Namely, Epic's Celebrity Pro-Am tournament in Fortnite followed 1.5 million viewers, with what Fortnite convincingly noted the most-watched broadcast of a game, ending the result of 1.1 million viewers which at the beginning of the year was holding Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
