CRASH TEAM RACING REMASTER TEASED FOR THE GAME AWARDS
If a pair of fuzzy dice and a brief note are anything to go off of, it appears CTR: Crash Team Racing is primed for a reveal at The Game Awards.
IGN received a large, orange pair of fuzzy dice (reminiscent of Crash himself) in the mail, along with a note that reads: "Sliding into the Game Awards on 12/6... - Anonymous.” One of the die only has a six on it, while the other has the standard one-six. Combined, it adds up to a six and a 21, perhaps hinting at a Friday, June 21 (6/21) release date.

Developed by Vicarious Visions, the N. Sane Trilogy is based off the PlayStation classics made by Naughty Dog. It’s possible this same studio could be working on a much-requested CTR remaster, as fellow Activision studio Toys for Bob just released the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and likely wouldn’t be ready to reveal another title. A similar hint came before the reveal of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy in the form of a mysterious purple egg.
In our review of CTR: Crash Team Racing on the original PlayStation, we said "If you want a pure party game -- and the best kart game on PlayStation or Nintendo, for that matter -- get Crash Team Racing."
