Reggie Fils-Aime´s Retro Studios Pic hidding an unknown Nintendo character?

Retirement of former President of Nintendo America is again on the newspapers due to his last pic on Twitter. Among the various gifts he received for his recent retirement we can find a statuette of Mario, an always useful plastic butt, the Virtual Boy Nintendo system and a notepad; but what´s important here for us gamers is that the main gift, a Retro Studio´s illustration depicting some of their main characters is partially hidden behind the Mario statuette, allowing us to barely recognize the hand of an unknow robo-character. Is Nintendo (with some last help of Reggie) teasing us with the possiblity of a new game? Are they preparing us for a comeback related to the Virtual Boy´s 'Teleroboxer' character? or is it just a Metroid Federation Force character? In any case, it looks like Reggie still has an ace up his sleeve...
