Until Dawn will not receive a sequel

Game Informer journalists wanted to make an exclusive report about the Man of Medan, but they could not get around the conversation about the new part of Until Dawn 2. According to the head of Supermassive Pete Samuels, the authors do not want to stand still. They want to unleash their potential in the horror genre.

Until Dawn, [many] began to demand a continuation - this is happening to this day. So we know that there are fans who like these things, ”explains Samuel. - For the most part [the creation of The Dark Pictures] is connected with our desire to be loyal to this fan base and to be true to ourselves in what we love to do - to create more stories and characters and to do it more often than once or twice in several years old ".

The developers decided that the anthology of The Dark Pictures, which will include five games in horror genres, will provide them with more “freedom”. Unfortunately, the continuation Until Dawn will not, and the developers have asked the players not to wait for it. The director of the game, Tom Heaton, said: This helps the authors not to become attached to one story and constantly invent something new.

Dark Pictures producer Dan MacDonald added: "If we continue, we will not know who will survive (we are talking about specific characters. - StopGame). I mean, we could learn about it from our own conservation, but we do not want to use it. We want to create a different story with other characters. ”

I hope the parts of The Dark Pictures will be able to replace the sequel Until Dawn, but do not expect a new horror before the summer. The first part of the collection “Man of Medan” will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
