DOTA Underlords is Officially a Hit with Gamers and is in the Top 5 games Played on Steam

DOTA Underlords has only been in Open Beta for less than a week but it is already among the most played games on Steam.  Less than a day after its launch, Underlords rocketed up the charts and sits at #4 most played game after CS:GO, PUBG, and Dota 2.

DOTA Underlords presently has over 200,000 concurrent players on Steam.  These numbers should continue to rise and have already blown some of Valve’s biggest games out of the water.  Just for comparison, Valve's own ill-fated Artifact floundered to a peak of around 60,000 and only has about 100 players daily.

This likely put Valve way ahead of Riot's League of Legends Teamfight Tactics due to the fact that DOTA Underlords launched on mobile at the same time and has over 100,000 downloads on the Google Playstore.

The Autochess Wars have definitely begun and latecome Epic hasn't even entered the fray with the original Autochess yet!  This new genre will be an interesting space to watch indeed.
