Thx for reply, yeh i was exspecting a popup with reward when starting game, like we get for the red triangle stuff, thx

Just started to play the game and didn't get any Rift Fragments on day 3.  I did get the previous day's items and Day 4's.  They all show up on the top of the Store page of the game.

Don't the Rift Fragments appear there too?  I thought I saw the icon for them as well as the other two items.

They appear in the Archives, they're the Battlepass currency

Well i have now got 10 Rift Fragments, but cant see how to spend them in the battlepass ? or are they just passive or something, thx

They are passive and unlock the different levels of the pass, upper half is free stuff, lower half is premium stuff, you need to buy the premium battle pass with auric cells to unlock things there
