Official workaround for HiveMind & WIndows 10 Configuration Issue

All,

This was a major issue that we had to get support from the broader Microsoft community on how to get this fixed. I apologize it took this long to track this down and get a workaround. 

We now have a workaround registry edit that fixes Microsoft's bug. A simple registry add is located here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bizpsz4m4j2d4v9/Win-10-Update-Fix-For-Alpha.re_?dl=0 This registry edit restores the ability for 32-bit apps to access certain class files inside of Windows.

Steps to install on Windows 10:

  1. Download the file and change the extension from .re_ to .reg
  2. Double click the .reg file to install the key
  3. Run HiveMind Installer -OR- Run HiveMind UI to configure the system
  4. Celebrate

It does solve the endless circle problem, and I can successfully finish installing the HiveMind UI, and there will be  a new "Alpha Console" account on the login window,  but when I click this account it just goes black screen. It's not really black screen, when press alt+Tab, you can see there is a process running , which is  "Remoting Service Controller".

So, still, I'm not able to run the console mode. Really annoying.

update:

I suspect the reason for the black screen is Kodi. Before I download and try HIVEMIND, I have Kodi-16.0 already installed. But when I launch Kodi(click the shortcut of Kodi 16.0), Kodi 14.0 shows up, which is used by HIVEMIND.

I'll uninstall Kodi 16.0, and try reinstall HIVEMIND.
