Blade & Soul: White Screen Solutions

  • 2

I have a set of questions regarding my opponents attacks which I don't understand. [Assassins] Why does my screen turn white and what am I supposed to do when my screen is white, if I am able to do anything I found myself mashing block and whatever stun/knockdown move that is up. After I searched on the internet, someone else give me some tips.

"Your screen turns white when you get hit by their TAB escape or when they use their 3 from stealth. You can try baiting the tab by doing q-e after you do an air combo on them.

For the 3, it's when they jump on top of you from invis and go invis again, there are several ways to counter this. One is using SS just as you see them appear, the other is a bit trickier but much more useful. If you spec your Lunar Slash (tab in normal or draw stance) into T2S2/T2S3 it dazes on hit and goes into cooldown. The timing may take some getting used to, but when you see them appear above you try to hit TAB as fast as possible, if the daze isn't on cooldown. This'll stop the stun, the invis and the white screen and also give you an opportunity to engage on them.

The switch can be blocked if you use T3 block, the one that lasts 4 seconds. This is the block you should use vs Assassins, because the parry on T2 isn't worth sacrificing switch block."
