Destiny 2 will not get dedicated servers

  • 220

Producer Destiny 2 Mark Nousworthy told IGN that the game will not receive dedicated servers, and this applies to both console versions and the PC version, the release of which will be delayed a little.

This means that Destiny 2 will use a complex peer-to-peer system, where the stability of the game process in strikes and PvP depends on the host.

To admit, with the budget of Bungie such a decision seems at least strange, especially considering how many gamers asked to connect dedicated servers.

Destiny 2 is released on the consoles on September 8, the release date of the PC version is unknown, but it will be released exclusively on Blizzard.net.

I think this has already been mentioned a few times, but we'll have to see how it works out.  Not having dedicated servers seems odd, but hopefully they'll make it work.

Wtf no dedicated server = lag for days + random dcs based on host..

Thanks for update, (I probably won't buy it now)
