79% of Resident Evil 2 Remake players chose Leon for their first match
The status of the headline: 79% of players chose Leon S Kennedy for their first match, while the other 21% opted for Claire Redfield. In Claire's defense, she is listed second in the menu when you start the game. In total, 1,985 million have already played as Leon, while 1.05 million have played as Claire. 584,004 players cleared the game as Leon, while 336,408 did as Claire. Some of the other games are arbitrary, but still fun: 132 million zombies were killed by the time I write, which, as Capcom notes, is more than twice the UK population and more than the Japan. Firearms have been used 861 million times in the game, which tells a lot about how hard these zombies are overturned with bullets (or the average player's accuracy). Capcom also lists which items have been discarded throughout the game: subweapons such as grenades and knives make up 33 percent of the nearly 17 million items the players threw away while the herbs continue at 26 percent. Maybe I'm just overly cautious, but I'd never throw away those items in a game where you're always challenged with limited resources. Tyrant, the subject of many jokes on Twitter for his size, ridiculous hat and absurd coat, chased the players in 7.6 million kilometers. Somehow, Capcom measured that players have spent more than 53 years in total trying to solve puzzles.
