Pablo Schreiber will play Master Chief in Halo TV series

Pablo Schreiber (who plays Mad Sweeney on American Gods or George 'Pornstache' Mendez on Orange is the New Black) will play Master Chief in the upcoming Halo TV series. The new show is set during the game series' timeline and will feature old and new characters alike. Another character was announced, Quan Ah, who will be played by Yerin Ha, an Australian actress. Her character is described as a "shrewd, audacious 16-year-old from the Outer Colonies who meets Master Chief at a fateful time for them both."

The production for the show will begin this fall in Budapest, Hungary.
