Sales of World War Z are as fast as its Zombies with Over 1 million copies sold in a week

World War Z developer, Saber Interactive, announced today World War Z has surpassed 1 million copies sold since its April 16 launch. In addition to the incredible sales, at its peak, there were over 70,000 players online playing the game.
As many might correctly point out, this is actually quite incredible for a game that has bypassed the Steam Store and signed up for the Epic Games Store exclusive. Is this a sign of things to come?
It certainly bodes well for future Epic Store releases like Borderland 3.
