This is awful. This gets grabbed in seconds like here and with Steelseries. Would not really recommend.

Thanks for notifying us of this. Sadly Lenovo giveaways are easy for bots to farm

Update: Worst experience ever. I know what kept me from trying to get a key right away, but somehow I legitimately got the key. It's as iffy as using Steelseries.

If the owners of these sites think they will generate goodwill among their users they are mistaken. Those giveaways only help resellers to stock up their inventory while the average Joe gets annoyed and will give up trying.

Resellers, maybe. But you could say the same for all giveaways. I noticed they tightened it up so you can't just get outsiders without having an account there, which greatly reduces the availablity to the public to it.

Yes, that's essentially what their community manager told: they were surprised by the huge demand and tried to tighten availability.  They just can't get their head around the fact handing out e.g. 100k keys for a couple of millions interested in the game will result in many more disgruntled users compared to the lucky few satisfied by obtaining a key with people farming keys only aggravating the problem.

In the end everybody has to decide if the time investment has a worthwhile return for me this isn't the case and I find the whole procedure awkward.

I'm not sure about a "couple of millions", but I noticed it was a lot worse in my case beyond that. Ironically, with one of the requirements being that you had to connect your account with their site, their own site would crash, potentially preventing one from completing the requirement and getting the key. I had noticed it a couple of times, but the second time really confirmed it for me as the Gleam link was "open" the first couple of minutes, and closed abruptly before I had seen any confirmation because of that pesky issue. I found out the hard way before I realized I was sent an email saying I got the key, so I had no idea until I returned to the giveaway page, keeping me in suspense for far too long.
